Mizu, the latest Japanese-inspired seafood grill has just opened this past summer, and we’re excited to see another sushi spot in the city. Mizu is on the rooftop of the new hotel that recently opened in Southpark, the Hyatt Centric, an elevated and elegant spot to stay and dine.
Mizu specializes in a specific type of Japanese grilling called ‘Robatayaki’ which translates to ‘fireside cooking.’ The method is done by cooking over hot charcoal on a wide and flat open fireplace similar to barbecuing.
The interior lounge is sleek and elegant with sweeping skyline views that can be seen from the rooftop. The menu consists of light and seasonal cocktails with Japanese-inspired dishes like Yellowtail Cheeks, Lobster, Alaskan King Crab Lettuce Wraps, and fresh oysters, just to name a few.
