Last year we said goodbye to Crepe Cellar, and said hello to Ever Andalo from the same owners, Jeff Tonidandel & Jamie Brown.
Ever Andalo comes from the root-tracing experience Tonidandel and Brown had when visiting Italy. From the shared experience of food to walking away with new family and friends, the experience was the influence behind the Italian restaurant joining the Tonidanel-Brown family, following their latest restaurant, Supperland (which is turning 2!)
Ever Andalo, in the NoDa neighborhood in the same building as Crepe Cellar was, is run by Executive Chef Cory Owen and will be an upscale-Italian eatery.
The menu isn’t overly complicated, with antipasti dishes, first, seconds, thirds, and desserts available, with a little bit for every palette. Like fish? Try the branzino, where they serve you a whole fillet with white balsamic mignonette, shaved fennel, and watercress. For fans of pasta, there are a few different options, like the Mushroom Tortellini, with seasonal mushrooms, shaved parmigiano reggiano, porcini cream, and greens or a spicier option like their Calabrian Chili Pappardelle with calabrian chili beef ragù and housemade ricotta.
We’d also highly recommend splitting their warm foccacia that comes with 3 olive oils or giving their fresh burrata a try.
And from March 3rd-5th, you can celebrate with a special cocktail, “Stay Golden”, featuring Zaya rum, Montenegro, Disaronno, lemon juice, simple syrup, salted orange bitters, and gold glitter.
