While it has been over a century and a half since Edgar Allan Poe graced us with a work of detective fiction or gothic horror, his legacy lives on. Within the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, Poe historians will retell four of his most famous stories with a modern twist. The chilling tales feature The Tell-Tale Heart, The Raven, Masque of Red Death and The Black Cat.
The Palmer Building in Charlotte is the perfect venue for this one-of-a-kind experience, providing a timeless, historic atmosphere. Established in the 1930’s, the rubble stone structure was constructed during President Roosevelt’s Works Progress Administration.

Guests will enjoy a 90-minute interactive show as they sip on four complimentary cocktails. Tickets start at $55 and are available to those ages 21 and up.
