Turkey Legs And Jousting Awaiteth You At The Carolina Renaissance Festival, Starting Saturday

Get ready for the biggest party in Camelot.

The Carolina Medieval Festival is back and there’s more ale, knights, and jesters than ever before. There’s much to do at the Renaissance fair so come hither, don your head with crowns, wear your best medieval gown, and be ready to chug sweet ale and mead all day long.

The festival will have a variety of different activities to partake in, starting with the jousting competition (happening three times a day) where two brave knights will compete to win the Queens’ honor.

Shop to your heart’s content in the Artisan’s Market where some of the best craftsman, blacksmiths, glassblowers and more will be selling their wares. This is the perfect opportunity to do a little holiday shopping, especially since there are over 140 vendors, each with unique and hand-made items.¬†Witness a unique and one-of-a-kind falcon performance by trained professionals and snack your way through modern and medieval food like candy apples, turkey legs, craft ale, stews, and much, much more.

There are a lot of different ways to get your tickets, from the standard price of $28 for ages 13 and up, to $55 when you buy the coveted pub crawl tickets. There’s also a special 2 for 1 deal if you buy tickets for the opening weekend, which is this Saturday and Sunday.

The festival starts this week, Saturday and Sunday, and runs until November 21st. We hope to see you there! Huzzah!
