There’s an al-fresco way to drink & dine here at Camp North End.
Eat, drink, and play at Charlotte’s innovative and creative hub known as Camp North End. We wanted to create a comprehensive list of all of the places you can dine and enjoy all summer long. Ever since Camp North End’s inception in 2020, the hub has only added more venues to its already impressive repertoire, so here’s a list of them all!
1. Babe & Butcher
Babe & Butcher specializes in charcuterie boards–whether they be filled with desserts, cheeses and meats, or fruit. They’ve also got grazing tables (which are essentially sweets and treats and goodies that span across the dining table for the ultimate treat. They also do catering.
2. Plant Joy
Underneath the open-air rafters sits Plant Joy, a vegetarian haven made by the same owners as Nourish. They serve delicious platters filled with wholesome ingredients like fresh quinoa, vegetables, and tofu. They’ve also got some CBD spritzers to cool you down on those hot summer days.
3. Black Moth Bars
Welcome to this creative catering concept, Black Moth Bars. They make speciality cocktails made with locally sourced North Carolina liquors. Their Airstream is usually parked in Camp North End but we believe they also take their drinks on the road for catering events. Try their Bad Moon Cocktail made with chai-infused moonshine for a unique twist on a North Carolina-style cocktail.
4. Popbar
Popbar is a popular artisan popsicle shop where you can drizzle, dip, and sprinkle whatever your heart desires on a naturally flavored popsicle. This pop shop has expanded across the country and has set up shop in Camp North End as well.
5. Wentworth & Fenn
Wentworth & Fern is the place to call if you want delicious cakes, pastries, and custom orders as beautiful as they are tasty. This bakery boasts made from scratch and delicious treats perfect for your next big event.
6. NoDa Company Canteen
This is a cute little oasis in Camp North End perfect for wine weekends (or any night of the week) and chillin’ out with friends.
7. Leah & Louise
Leah & Louise comes to us from 2x nominated James Beard Chef Gregory Collier and is described as modern juke joint. That means they serve modern, elevated Southern-style dishes like their Rich Boys, which are fried oyster sliders with brown roux aioli, dill pickled celery and a house made bun.
8. La Caseta
This alfresco dining experience celebrates Latin American food straight from mom. They cook traditional Latin American cuisine passed down from generation to generation.
9. Hex Coffee
This is a lovely and airy craft coffee shop located in Camp North End. Stop by on a weekday morning walk through the area and grab a perfectly roasted iced latte or cold brew. We’re sure you’ll also want a pound of beans to go.
10. Free Range Brewing
It wouldn’t be a great Charlotte neighborhood without a brewery and Free Range doesn’t disappoint. This is also their other location (the other one is in Davidson). Try their Cup of Ambition, which is a Carolina Pale Ale with Kumquats.
11. Chop & Chisel
Chop & Chisel is a catering service that brings fresh and hand-crafted dishes straight to your door. Choose from their weekly menu or over 25 chef-prepared dishes then their dishes are brought straight to your door twice a week.
12. Bleu Barn North End
Bleu Barn is a lovely farm-to-table bistro located inside Camp North End. Some of their menu offerings is their Fresh Catch Sandwich with cornmeal fried NC rainbow trout, house tangy market relish, chipotle maple aioli, and arugula on a toasted local bun and their Bistro Grilled Cheese with creamy mozzarella, brie, house made strawberry habanero jam, and thick cut apple-wood smoked bacon on toasted local country bread.
