Get ready to have your souls broken: Queen B is coming to the Queen City!
In support of last year’s critically-acclaimed album Renaissance, the superstar is heading back out on the road for a world tour, with a night in Charlotte coming up.
Kicking off in May is the European leg of Beyoncé’s tour, where she’ll hit cities such as Stockholm, Sweden, Brussels, Belgium, and London.
By the summer she will have made her way to the U.S. and will be heading towards our stomping grounds. We can’t believe she’ll be making a stop in Charlotte–and we just know everyone in the state will be heading our way once she arrives to perform at Bank of America stadium on August 9th.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Beyoncé released a post that simply read: “RENAISSCANCE WORLD TOUR 2023,” with a suitably iconic photo of the artist atop of a silver horse; much like the recent album cover.
Her website gives a full list of tour dates, with links to where tickets can be purchased.
The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first major outings since her co-headline On The Run II set of dates with husband Jay-Z. Last month, the singer did perform her first concert in four years in Dubai, but no material from Renaissance was performed.
Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022; and marked Beyoncé’s fourth UK number one album. Following its release, Beyoncé was nominated for a 2023 BRIT Award for Best International Artist. She is also nominated for nine Grammy awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
