This Saturday marks the start of the 12th Annual King’s Drive Art Walk, taking place from April 30th to May 1st at the Little Sugar Creek Greenway from 11-6 on Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday.
This spring festival is dedicated to celebrating small and emerging artists in tandem with the spring season, where warmer weather makes Charltoteans come out to play. The festival takes place along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway, a humble little reclaimed natural waterway between East Morehead Street and Pearle Park Way Bridge along Kings Drive.
From sketch artists to woodworkers, stone artists and painters, there’s a little bit of everything so get inspired, buy some home decor to spruce up your space, and support your local art community.
Not to mention, El Lagunero will be there providing spicy food and delicious snacks like their spiced elote cups with mayo and hot cheetos or their more refreshing agua frescas, juicy fruit cups, and more.
We’ll see you this weekend! Entry is free so come by and support your community.
