The U.S. National Whiteawater Center is the perfect natural venue for their annual wellness festival coming to Charlotte on September 18th. Welcome to Flow Fest, a festival dedicated to rejuvenating your mind, body, and soul in the great outdoors with yoga practices, meditation classes, live music, and more.
Each stage will offer different types of yoga classes, from the higher intensity Vinyasa Yoga, to the beginner-style practice called “Elevate Your Flow.” They’ve even got “SUP” Yoga, which is a practice that takes place on a stand up paddle board in the Catawba River for a unique experience.
If you want to dive deep into your zen, you can move on from yoga into the meditation areas to practice your breath-work. If you’re new to meditation, then you can take the “Meditation Made Easy” class which is perfect for beginners.
Other than that, there’s a whole other variety of activities to participate in from kombucha sampling, to Thai massage classes, handmade goods from local vendors in the Vendor Village, and even live music.
What’s even better is that tickets are absolutely free, with the only requirement being that you have to register beforehand.
The festival takes place on Saturday, September 18th and is an all-day event. We’ll see you there.
