Today’s the big day for Crayola lovers as the Crayola IDEAworks creative attraction has just opened its doors at Camp North End. This family-friendly event is the ideal way to get those creative juices flowing and unleash your inner artist, although there’s no need to be an expert drawer or painter. Just bring your imagination.
Enter the Idea Workshop, which makes up the core of the experience, and where you can navigate to other sections of the attraction, like the bustling Crayoplis, the SeaBase, Mars Station, Colorverse Portal, and the Grand Finale. The colorful rooms are filled with themed, interactive activities that fuel imagination and encourage creativity, and that the kids will love. From brightly lit arcade games to hands-on puzzles, drawing stations, and much more to explore.
At the end of it all, scan your wristband at the Grand Finale to find out your personalized creative strengths that you can use to enhance your creativity at home.
The Crayola IDEAworks experience is located inside the Ford Building at Camp North End, one of Charlotte’s best community hubs for culture, food, and fun events that are kicking off the warm weather. These days, you can also check out the Reel Out Film Festival, Arts Fishing Club, and live music to jam out to after a fun day at Crayola IDEAworks.
For tickets to the event, you can head to their website, where you’ll select a date and time slot for your adventure. The entire event usually takes up to 60-90 minutes, but feel free to stick around longer. Children age 4 and up cost $25, and the attraction is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm. What will you create?
