Popular food magazine, Bon Appétit, announced their 2022 list of Best 50 Restaurants in the country and Charlotte favorite, Supperland was nominated this year. The list will be included in the upcoming October issue of the magazine, hitting stands mid-September.
“This is an incredible feat for our team – and for Charlotte too,” says Owner, Jeff Tonidandel. “Our city keeps rising as a culinary destination and to have Supperland included with all these other great restaurants in the country is an absolute honor.” Tonidandel had been familiar with the Bon Appétit list for a while, often using it as a guide for upcoming travel destinations. An upcoming foodie destination indeed with all the recent restaurant openings in the past 2 years, although Charlotte hasn’t secured the long-coveted James Beard Award yet, though Chef Greg Collier of Leah and Louis has been nominated multiple times.
If you’re inspired head in to try Supperland’s menu, of which there are plenty of delicious options we’d recommend. From the Wagyu Pot Roast with vegetable gravy and pickled vegetables to Grilled Lobster with miso-drawn butter and grilled lemon. Don’t miss out on the sides like the Miso Mac & Cheese, Mushroom Risotto, and Wood-Oven Broccoli, and definitely don’t skimp on dessert. Go for their Strawberry Basil Pie or Peach Bourbon Pie for a great late-summer option.
