A freak accident if we’ve ever heard of one!
Charlotte can sometimes be a weird little place, from it’s community projects highlighting that you can, in fact, Can Can, to sightings of Big Foot in Charlotte’s rare bog. But have you ever heard of flying fish? Heard of, maybe, but been hit by while driving over the 1-73 (right over Randleman lake)? That’s exactly what happened to one of Ward Transport’s drivers this week.

What appears to be a flying fish (which actually exist, wings and all) was actually just a big accident. If you watch closely, there’s a bird flying overheard right before the fish makes contact with driver’s windshield. The flying fish was actually the bird’s lunch, but seemingly slipped out of its mouth. That’s when it hit the Ward Transport driver’s car. Definitely a funny freak accident. The driver pulled over, dried off their windshield, and safely returned to the road.
