Who doesn’t enjoy a patio brunch? We do, especially when it comes with some of the delicious plates of food some of Charlotte’s best eateries have to offer. From locally sourced to Cajun-inspired to Carolina traditional, these are 16 of the best brunch spots offering outdoor and patio seating here in Charlotte! While not ALL restaurants on this list offer bottomless brunch, we tried to keep the list as affordable as we could. We hope you enjoy!
1. Suffolk Punch
Suffolk Punch is a lot of things: Taphouse, Brewery, Coffeehouse, and Culinary Cafe that melds art and science to create some delicious meals. Every weekend, come to Suffolk Punch to try out their brunch menu. From Huevos Rancheros to a Chicken Biscuit with a homemade biscuit and fried chicken. They’ve also got a full coffee bar courtesy of their coffeehouse, boozy coffee drinks, and a full range of beers from their tap house.

2. Davidson Wine Co.
Just a short drive away is Davidson, where Davidson Wine Co. sits as its first ever urban winery. Not only do they have a delicious assortment of wines to try, but they have a delicious weekend brunch that they serve on their patio! The start of patio weather is our favorite time of the year, and what better way to enjoy the warmer weather than with a mimosa flight? Hungry? They’ve got sweet breakfast treats like Donuts and Belgian Waffles or a Combo Board (with artisan meats and cheeses). If you’re in the mood for something savory, try a frittata with prosciutto, mushrooms, cheddar, parmesan, scallions, and yummy gravy.

3. 204 North
204 North was named one of Charlotte’s Best Restaurants in 2017 and for good reason. Just check out those chicken and waffles. 204 North has a great outdoor patio where you can enjoy delicious meals like Vanilla French Toast with thick cut toast drizzled with pecan maple syrup, ice cream, and a side of your choice (like potato home fries or sausage). Chicken and Waffles are also a great option with buttermilk breaded chicken with cast iron waffles, apple thyme butter, maple syrup, and a side. Pair it with a white wine and enjoy the sun.

4. Easy Like Sunday
This locally sourced lunch spot is serving brunch and lunchtime favorites on their cute outdoor patio. From Fried Chicken Sandwiches made with fresh ingredients on a Brioche bun to Breakfast Burritos stuffed with potatoes, green chilies, avocado cream, and bacon. They’ve got two french toasts: Classic and Ricotta stuffed, and the more traditional pancakes. Or try their Short Rib Hash with delicious braised short rib.

5. Snooze Eatery Brunch
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery has got a bunch of locations around the country from Colorado, to Texas and of course, North Carolina here in Charlotte. From the savory, like Green Chile stuffed burritos to the sweet, like Traditional Pancakes. Sit on the patio with a fresh-squeezed mimosa and enjoy a hearty plate of food.

6. Roots Cafe
Roots is a stunning little cafe here in Charlotte serving locally sourced ingredients and breakfast week after week. This green patio tucked away is a great way to spend your warmer spring mornings, and the food isn’t half bad either. There’s classy goat cheese grit bowls and delicious loaded bagels to choose from. If you dine-in, there’s also a pastry case filled with homemade muffins and other baked goods. Don’t forget to get a delicious americano to enjoy with.

7. 300 East
Welcome to 3oo East where you can chill on the patio on a Sunday and bite into a delicious bowl of The Usual, which included chicken salad, asparagus, mushrooms, cheddar and baked open-faced. Their brunch menu also includes a great sounding Crab Cake Benedict and an Egg and Cheese Homemade Biscuit. Sunday brunch runs from 10am-3pm so don’t miss out.

8. Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey is a call back to the Southern Roots of the Carolina Mountains and this is reflected in their food, from brunch to lunch to dinner. The menu will rotate depending on the season and location (as Tupelo Honey serves people across the nation) which means everything is fresh and local. The Charlotte menu includes House Made Pickles, Avocado Toast Points topped with goat cheese, and Famous Fried Green Tomatoes.

9. Ink N Ivy
Ink N Ivy now has patio and outdoor seating back and just in time for the warmer weather! They focus on the classics from home potatoes, toast and scrambled eggs from even Shrimp and Grits. Don’t forget to try their Breakfast Wrap as well stuffed with eggs, cheese, peppers, and either grits or potatoes.

10. Kid Cashew
Charlotte’s lucky enough to have an awesome restaurant like Kid Cashew bless its streets. From delicious Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast to Southern Shrimp & Grits, you can enjoy a savory or sweet brunch that will surely not disappoint. What’s even better, they’ve got $5 Bloody Marys, $3 Mimosas, and $10 Tequila Sunrise Mimosas.

11. Village Tavern
Village Tavern has got a patio perfect for sunny days and tons of delicious sounding food on their weekend brunch menu. We’re particularly intrigued by their Crab Cake Benedict and their Southern Style Fried Chicken and Waffles. They’ve also got some classic staples like Huevos Rancheros and a BLT Fried Egg and Cheese Sandwich.

12. Ruby Sunshine
Ruby Sunshine is a New Orleans-inspired restaurant serving up delicious southern classics. They’ve also got a cute outdoor patio with fairy lights strung to the ceiling that is perfect for weekend brunches or nights out with cocktails. We’d definitely recommend their brunch cocktails like their Ruby Mimosa with sparkling wine, orange juice, and pomegranate juice. From Crawfish & Grits to Sweet Heat Chicken and French Toast Bites to the classic southern breakfast.

13. Eight + Sand Kitchen
Eight + Sand is a term once used by train crews to bid farewell and a safe voyage, and now, the term is the name of this Charlotte staple bakery serving up fresh baked goods (made from scratch of course), artisan sandwiches and salads, and of course, delicious brunch items. We’d recommend giving their Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich served on a fresh buttermilk biscuit a try, or their Ricotta and Jam toast.

14. Haymaker
Haymaker is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Charlotte with a stunning interior and patio to enjoy with good food in good company. Everything sounds delicious from their Bacon Fat Beignets to their Flatiron Brasstown Steak & Eggs to their Cinnamon Bread French Toast, and we’re guessing you’ll want to enjoy a spread of all the tasty dishes they have to offer.
