The flavors of fall are perhaps some of the best parts of the season. From the beloved pumpkin spice to crisp apples to salted caramel and more, there’s a whole lot to love about the autumnal season. As the seasons change, so do the menus, and we’re seeing warm-toned, spiced desserts making a comeback, as well as gourd-inspired beverages. So get ready, because here are 6 fall-flavored drinks and desserts from your favorite stops around Charlotte. And we guarantee there is going to be a lot more to come.

1. Apple Hill Orchard’s Cider Doughnuts

Purchase a Picking Pass for Apple Hill Orchard to pick your own crisp apples and enjoy a side of yummy cider doughnuts and slushes. Because of this year’s bout of terrible weather, there’s been a few apples varieties that may not have reached their full potential, while other varieties are in abundance, so keep that in mind while picking. You can head over to Morganton, but make sure topurchase your picking pass (although you don’t need one to access the bakery and farm market, you do need one to access the orchard), in order to pick apples and beautiful warm-toned flowers. Passes have been selling out most days so gets yours before the seasons over.

Where: 2075 Pleasant Hill Ave, Morganton, NC 28655

2. Triple C Brewing’s Oktober Fest Lager

Triple C Brewing has got their Oktoberfest Lager on tap, and just in time for the season. The Oktoberfest Lager is “a beautiful amber color with rich malty notes of caramel with a super clean finish,” with drafts and cans available for purchase. They’ve also partnered with Izzy’s, a food truck that specializes in huge burgers, yummy wings, and hot pizza, so come hungry.

Where: 2900 Griffith St, Charlotte, NC 28203

3. Sunflour Baking Company’s Pumpkin Cheesecake

This local, scratch-made bakery is starting their fall season off right with their delicious pumpkin cheesecakes.  Even better, these heavenly little cheesecakes are also topped with a fresh fig. Come in and get a delectable treat filled with all of the flavors of the season. Their entire fall menu has already been released, and everything looks extra scrumptious, from their beer and pretzel sandwich, to their cinnamon maple oat scones and morning glory muffins. This will definitely become one of your favorite stops this season.

Where: 2001 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28204

4. NoDa Brewing Company’s Gordgeous Beer

NoDa’s popular Gordgeous beer is out with perfect timing. Gordgeous is a pumpkin or yam beer made with real pumpkin puree in every batch, paired with brown sugar, ginger root, and hand-cracked spices including allspice, cloves, and cardamon. For anyone allergic to cinnamon or nutmeg, neither of those two spices are included in the beer, which gives the beer a little bit of an edge as well. For big fans, NoDa is also selling amazing Gordgeous Hoodies to keep you cozy all fall and winter long.

Where: 2921 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28206

5. Sas Cupcakes’ Salted Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake

Sas’s homemade cupcakes are a delight, and their Salted Caramel Pumpkin Cheesecake Cupcake is no exception. Made with a spiced pumpkin base, topped with buttercream frosting and caramel. Also, check out their Nutella pretzel flavor for another taste of fall. They’ve even got a special by 5 get 1 free option, with a ton of different flavors to choose from like vanilla bean and caramel macchiato. Or you could just get 6 of the salted caramel pumpkin. We won’t tell.

6. Around the World Cafe’s Pumpkin Spiced Milk Tea

If you’re a big fan of milk tea, then head over to Around the World for their new pumpkin spiced milk tea, served with boba, jellies, or custard. They’ve also got customizable sweetness and milk (with alternative milk options ranging from coconut to almond) and served hot or iced.
